Unions & Commitment Ceremonies
The Pneuma Center can provide officiating services for:
We believe that Love is the highest principle in the universe and that no one, or no human institution, has the right to interfere with those who wish to publicly pledge their love for and commitment to one another. The love and commitment that two people have for one another should be embraced, encouraged, and celebrated as a basic freedom in any society that cherishes liberty and human rights! Since Love cannot be proscribed by human laws or religious creeds, we offer our officiating services to couples who are committed to one another but, for any of a variety of reasons, are not eligible for (or perhaps interested in) a ceremony that is sanctioned by the state or that passes a "qualification test" imposed by a particular religious institution. Our goal is to help make your ceremony a joyous occasion that will forever be remembered . . . one you can look back on with laughter and tears of joy . . . one that will remind you (over time and in the face of adversity) that you have solemnly pledged your love and support for one another . . . one that will remind you that there are others who stand by you that love you and support you. Couples who avail themselves of these services will be issued a signed and dated Proclamation Certificate that may be retained as a memento of the public pledge they have made to one another.
