The
wedding vows are the focal point of the entire ceremony. More
importantly, they give lasting meaning to the ceremony after the
celebration is over. But well-crafted vows are hard to find or they
are often laced with wording that doesn't reflect the values of the
couple or sentiments they wish to convey. For those who want
to be in control of their own ceremony, the Pneuma Center offers some
beautifully-worded vows and other elements you won't find anywhere else.
Previously available only to couples who utilize our officiating
services, we are now offering some of these at a reasonable price to
others who want their wedding ceremony to be remembered for years to come
and lauded for its beauty and originality. More details are provided below or
you can click on the button to go immediately to the order form:

 |
Secular Marriage Vows
These vows (written by Lon) are for discriminating
couples who would like to blend traditional with contemporary but
without religious overtones. They will also work nicely for couples
who do not share the same religious heritage. Using these vows as a
framework, other elements can easily be added to craft a ceremony
that is uniquely you!
Includes one set
of vows along with usage notes.
|
 |
Marriage Blessings
A blessing may be used in lieu of or addition to a
prayer. Each blessing is expressed as a pronouncement by
the officiant or other designee, rather than an invocation.
Includes:
h
Blessing Inspired By Nature
(by Lon Roberts)
h Blessing of Love,
Health, Happiness, & Prosperity (by Lon Roberts)
h
Native American
Blessings
h Irish Blessing
. . . and others
|
 |
Wine Ceremony
The Wine Ceremony (written by Lon & Sharon)
is similar in sentiment to a Unity Candle Ceremony but with much
richer and deeper symbolism. It also works well in cases where there
are difficult family situations that would preclude family member
participation.
Includes the
ceremony with instructions and usage notes.
|
 |
Marriage Chest Ceremony
This beautiful ceremony (written by Lon) allows the
couple to capture their feelings and devotion to one another on
their wedding day in the form of a letter that each have written.
The letters, along with a bottle of fine wine, are placed in a
sealed Marriage Chest. The chest is to be opened on the couple's
25th wedding anniversary or at an earlier date if their relationship
is ever threatened and they would like to relive the feelings and
commitments they made on their wedding day.
Includes the written ceremony and
usage notes.

Factors To Consider When
Selecting a Wedding Facility

The Pneuma Center
specializes in meaningful ceremonies for those who might describe themselves
as:
• "Spiritual" but not necessarily "religious"
• Originating from families who don't share a common religious heritage
but do share a belief in the supremacy of love
• Desiring something that is richer in significance than a simple civil ceremony
or a ritualistic liturgical ceremony
• Wishing to celebrate the occasion
in a
non-traditional setting

Thank you so much for
performing such a beautiful ceremony for our wedding! We had many
compliments about the wording and the sentiment, and even though Dan
and I tweaked a few things, I know that the words that you put
together were the foundation of our wonderful day. |

What a glorious day we
had! Patrick and I want to thank you for setting the perfect tone for
our ceremony: solemnity without too much seriousness, recognition of
our families and friends, and reminding us that our feelings for each
other and our "big step forward" were what it was all about. |

We
wanted to thank you for your wonderful support and the beautiful job
you did on our wedding. Lon was a calming face at the end of the aisle
as I walked up, and it made us feel really comfortable getting to know
you both before the actual day. We have been smiling and crying happy
tears ever since. Everyone loved the ceremony and that is due in part
to you both. Thanks again. |

I
wanted to thank you again for officiating our wedding. I'm so glad I
found you! It was extra special for Corey and me to be able to write
our own vows and ceremony (with your excellent help, of course). You
are both so nice, which is very refreshing. |

We
just wanted to say thank you. The ceremony was beautiful and everyone
we spoke to had only good things to say about it. We appreciate what
you do and what you have done for us, and again . . . we just wanted
to say thanks. If anyone else is looking for the same type of ceremony
as we were looking for we will definitely recommend you every time! |

"job" you did officiating our wedding. We were convinced from our
